This hostel was incredible! My partner and I had a queen sized private room which was perfectly sized and very homey! The greatest part was that we even had a WATER VIEW from the room window!! All shared locations were super clean and cared for. If you like to cook, a unique range of herbs like lemon verbena, basil, cilantro, and more awaits for you in the garden. Everyone on the property was so lovely and caring.

I stayed here with three family members in June 2024 (June 27 to 30). It was an absolute pleasure. There were three different staff members who were on duty at this time, and each one of them was so incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming. They all did everything to make our stay pleasant and make sure we had everything we needed, answering all our questions. The whole place is so well run, clean, and comfortable. It is so nicely furnished, with comfortable areas for sitting, eating, conversing (while seeing amazing harbor views from the main living room and from the enclosed front porch). There are also various nooks where you can sit alone with a laptop, have a quiet conversation for 2 or 3, etc. The kitchen is well outfitted with whatever you need to cook or prepare your meals. People bring and label their own food, keeping it on shelves and the refrigerator. The whole system worked so well, how the guests shared the space. The hostel is walking distance to the Hyannis Transportation Center, which is another plus. Thank you to everyone there for making our stay a very special family memory.

Wonderful place with nice and helpful staff! If I go somewhere and I see HI hostels in the USA I trust it is the best hostel in the area and it has always been true! This place is very clean, homie, cozy, well located and nice in all way you would need there! 3 story house with reception, lobby, kitchen and restrooms on the first floor and beds on the second. Everything nice and organized. Highly recommend! Had a great time and meet nice people. Will return if I happen to be in Hyaenas again. One thing I would add is more space for personal items.

This was the first time in recent years I've stayed in a hostel so I really did not know what to expect. To say it was near perfect is an understatement. The room was very clean and functional, the bathroom was cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies and the overall house and grounds were beautiful. Also, it is very convenient to the downtown Hyannis, Steamship Authority and Hy-Line ferries to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. Henning was especially friendly and helpful for the duration of my stay. I highly recommend this place as a travel option to Cape Cod.

I stayed here for a weekend in late May, and very much enjoyed my time in Hyannis and the Cape despite the extremely windy and rainy days. The hostel is well managed, clean (lots of bathrooms, never a line), and centrally located in Hyannis to the Main St that has lots of restaurants and shops and the ferries. David the hostel worker (new crew this year) goes above and beyond, and he is very welcoming. The hostel and future guests are and will be lucky to have and interact with David over the upcoming 2026 season. Also, there's a nice parking lot. Lots of room for cars. Thank you so much!! :)

Firstly this are new staff for the summer of 2026 so the negative comments from other guest does not apply to the current staff! I had an excellent stay at this hostel and would highly recommend it to others. The facilities were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. A special thank you to David and Cece, who truly made the experience stand out. David was consistently helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable, while Cece created a warm and friendly environment that made guests feel at home. Their professionalism and kindness made a lasting impression. I would also like to thank the manager, Christina, who always took the time to ask about my day. That simple gesture added a thoughtful and personal touch to my stay.
